as the keep fit classes were sponsored – 50% of profits

and appropriately. They were skilfully taught call and response
and choruses in songs. They were introduced to songs from different
times and places. Time was spent demonstrating to children how
sound was produced by various parts of the instrument and key
questioning was used effectively to keep children engaged and
check their aids of understanding.

Follow up work included singing some of the songs they had learned
from Bob Buckle, evaluating the performance and reflecting upon
